How often are dance lessons held? Every club dance Friday evening starting at 6:15 to 7:00 p.m. (Except for July and August)
Do you have to be a member of the Bop Club to attend? No, anyone is welcome to attend lessons.
Do you have to have a partner to attend lessons? No, there are members of the Club that can be partners.
Is there a charge for lessons? No extra charge for lessons.
What do I need to do to become a member of the Bop Club? You can go to our web site www.spacitydanceclub.com and print & complete the application.
Is there a membership fee? Yes, just $20 per year for the Bop Club.
Is there a charge for the Friday night dances? Yes, just $2.00 if you are a member and $5.00 if you are a guest.
How often do you dance? Our dance club hosts a dance the second and fourth and any time there is a 5th Friday of each month from 7:00 to 10:30 p.m.
What other information should I know about your club? We currently have approximately 230 members. We periodically have specialty or theme dances.
We have five elected officer positions: · President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Parliamentarian.
There are seven appointed positions: Admissions, Activities, Membership, Newsletter, Web site, Public Relations and Telephone.
Are there any age restrictions to come to lessons/dances? Spa City Bop Club has no age restrictions...but because our venue serves alcohol you must be twenty-one.
