​​Spa City Bop Club - "We Love Dancing" - Lessons at 6:30 - Singles and couples welcome! Guests and members! February 14th is our next dance and we are celebrating our club’s LOVE of Dance with all our dance friends and guests. Everyone is welcome to come out and celebrate! It is also February birthday night for guests and members. Get your picture made!
Great turnout for Western/Chili Dance party – 139 folks and 46 were guests. Great music by our renowned DJ, Scotty Mack. The dance floor was packed all night long. Great decorations by Decorations committee chair, Donna Brinkley and many volunteers. Thanks to Kermit Gray for all the great pictures.   FYI – our ladies that check us in and take our admission money have had to retire due to severe illness (both Karen and Carlane need our prayers). For the next few months our board members and helpers will volunteer to take up money. Please be patient with us!    To help get our board members trained in this very important tedious task – we are asking that everyone bring EXACT CHANGE or write a check if possible. We apologize for the slow check in line but we are all getting “the hang” of checking off members and signing up new members and then making change. As you know, the paperwork has to “balance” at the end of the night. Thanks for all your help.

Jumping ahead to news for April 11th – Due to a conflict on April 11th at the Barrett Center, our club will meet at the Coronado Center in HSV. All members and guests will pay the normal admission price. The Coronado center has different rules for food – attendees are allowed to bring snacks/sandwiches as long as attendees clean everything before leaving. All beverages must be purchased from the bar. Our rent that night is based on how much is purchased at the bar (includes non-alcoholic and alcoholic) There is no food served at the Coronado Center. Some restaurants are in and around HSV – please check these out several days beforehand. If you have never been to Coronado Center – a map will be sent closer to April 11th and posted on FB. This is an extremely nice venue with a huge dance floor.
